GENOA -- A sobriety checkpoint will be held in the village from 11 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday, authorities said.
The checkpoint will be followed by increased presence of law enforcing agents looking for impaired drivers, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Besides the sheriff's office, participating agencies include the Ohio Highway patrol and area police departments.
Genoa is about 10 miles southeast of Toledo.
