Dayton native killed in I-75 accident in Hancock County

A 2-vehicle accident on I-75, north of the Ohio 235 exit to Mt. Cory, Ohio has left a Dayton resident dead, says a Findlay Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher.

The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night when the driver of a pickup truck collided with a commercial vehicle, two miles north of exit 145. The driver of the commercial vehicle received minor injuries. 

The wreckage from the accident, including the commercial vehicle, continue to block traffic as of 6 a.m., the Ohio Highway Patrol dispatcher reported. Additionally, the left lane of traffic in the area will be closed until 8 a.m.
