Toledo police are seeking a man who robbed a South Toledo barber shop Thursday.
The unidentified male, who wore a fake mustache and had tattoos on his forearms, entered the Snip-N-Clip Barber Shop, 3520 Heatherdowns Blvd., at 12:15 p.m., went to the reception desk, and demanded cash, threatening to shoot if the attendant did not comply. He did not produce a firearm, but kept his hands in his pockets as if he had a gun, police said.
After getting about $40 from the victim, the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
He was described as Caucasian, about 25 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and 160 pounds, with dark blond hair. He wore a black, zipped-up hooded jacket and a black baseball cap. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers program.
