Woman shot in East Toledo

A Toledo woman was shot today on the city's east side, authorities said.

Crystal Ware, 28, whose condition was not released, was shot about 4:15 a.m. at Berry Street and Woodville Road, according to Toledo police.

Police did not say what the motive was.

The shooting remains under investigation.

There was no word of arrests.
