BOWLING GREEN -- A man who suffered multiple stab wounds during a weekend brawl outside a Bowling Green Taco Bell remains hospitalized, officials said.

Rory Sheeks, 23, of Bowling Green, is listed in serious condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.

A Walbridge man, Carl Braden, 21, is charged with felonious assault; he was arraigned today in Bowling Green Municipal Court and ordered to be held in the Wood County jail without bond.

Police Major Noah Hetrick said at least six people were involved in the fight early Sunday morning at Taco Bell, 300 E. Wooster St. The fight started after an "obscene gesture" was made by someone in the group, the major said.

A weapon has not been recovered.

Mr. Braden was identified as a suspect by witnesses at the scene. Police distributed his photo to area businesses, and received a tip from a local grocery store that Mr. Braden was in their store.

He was arrested without incident, police said.

Police are still investigating to determine if more charges will be filed against him or if other individuals could be charged.
