BOWLING GREEN — A man who suffered multiple stab wounds during a weekend brawl outside a Bowling Green Taco Bell remains hospitalized, officials said.

Rory Sheeks, 23, of Bowling Green was listed in serious condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center late Monday, a hospital spokesman said.

A Walbridge man, Carl Braden, 21, is charged with felonious assault; he was arraigned Monday in Bowling Green Municipal Court and ordered to be held in the Wood County jail without bond.

Police Major Noah Hetrick said at least six people were involved in the fight early Sunday morning at Taco Bell, 300 E. Wooster St. The fight started after an “obscene gesture” was made by someone in the group, the major said. A weapon has not been recovered.

Police distributed the suspect's photo to area businesses, and received a tip from a local grocery store that Mr. Braden was present. He was arrested without incident, police said.
