Man who was wanted, described as extremely violent, found hiding in S. Toledo

A man described as extremely violent who was sought on warrants for the abduction at knife point of the mother of his child was found hiding tonight in a South Toledo residence.

Toledo police arrested Larry Franco, Jr., 21, of 914 Willow Ave., about 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Lodge Avenue. Detectives received information that he knew people who lived at the Lodge residence. He was charged with domestic violence, aggravated robbery, intimidation, and abduction.

He was lodged in the Lucas County jail and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning in Toledo Municipal Court.

He was accused of locking a woman in an East Toledo bedroom last month and repeatedly punching her. He forbade her from leaving and warned he would kill her, their 2-year-old daughter, and himself, according to documents filed in municipal court.

Charges of domestic violence and abduction were filed against Mr. Franco for the March 20 incident. This week, the woman reported to police that the suspect attacked her again.
