Police ask for help finding Toledo mugger

The robber is described by police as black, in his mid-20s with a mustache.

Toledo police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a woman.

The woman, who was with two other people, withdrew $460 from an ATM at 324 Main St. in East Toledo early April 1 and was approached by a man with a silver gun who demanded the cash, police said. The three victims ran, allowing the robber to take the cash and the woman’s debit card.

The robber is described by police as black, in his mid-20s with a mustache and possibly a “scruffy” goatee or beard. His hair could be braided. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
