A Subway restaurant near the University of Toledo was robbed today by a man reportedly carrying a shotgun.

The store, 1465 Secor Rd., was robbed just before 10 a.m.

Initial reports indicated that a man wearing a blue ski mask, with the face cut out, went into the store. Three people inside hid in a cooler, police reported.

The suspect fled the area and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

From the school's Twitter account, the University of Toledo reported a "dangerous situation" at the restaurant and advised students to avoid the area.
