A third youth was arrested late today in connection with the city's most recent homicide.

Levi Jackson, 17, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. in Holland and charged with murder and two counts of robbery. He was booked into the Lucas County juvenile justice center.

Cody Ramsay, 17, has been charged with murder and two counts of aggravated robbery in the Monday morning shooting death of Nathaniel Phillips.

Mary Guthrie, 17, of Swanton, was charged with one count of aggravated robbery in connection with the investigation, police said.

The Ramsay and Guthrie youths were ordered today to be held in detention at the Lucas County juvenile detention center, said assistant prosecutor Lori Olender, who oversees the juvenile division.

Toledo police were trying to identify a fourth suspect in the case.

The three teens were charged in connection with a separate robbery a day before Mr. Phillip's death. Police believe the Guthrie youth participated in that first robbery.

Mr. Phillips was shot three times and found dead in front of 1559 Twin Oaks Dr. in West Toledo at about 12:04 a.m.

Police believe robbery was the motive.

Mr. Phillips' death is Toledo's 10th homicide this year in the city and metro area.
