2 semis involved in turnpike crash

At least two tractor trailers were involved in a crash early today on the Turnpike near the Stony Ridge exit, closing two lanes of westbound traffic, officials said.

A Highway Patrol dispatcher said the crash was reported at 7:05 a.m., and the right and center lanes near the crash were closed for cleanup.

A trooper at the Swanton post reported minor injuries and a diesel-fuel leak.

No additional information was immediately available.
