Clyde motorcyclist injured in crash

CLYDE, Ohio — A motorcyclist was thrown from her 2013 Harley-Davidson in Sandusky County Sunday evening and was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo for treatment, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said Debra A. Klotz, 42, of Clyde lost control of her motorcycle on County Road 197 east of County Road 179 in Green Creek Township at 7:10 p.m.

Ms. Klotz was westbound when she lost control on a curve and drove into a ditch. The motorcycle overturned and threw Ms. Klotz off. She was not wearing a helmet, troopers sad.

No condition was available, a hospital spokesman said.
