Toledo Police inspect a van with multiple bullet holes after a shooting today on Hoag Street near Belmont Avenue.
One man was taken to Toledo Hospital today after a shooting in central Toledo.
The man, who has not been identified, was shot at least once in the 1200 block of Hoag Street just before 1:40 p.m.
The victim called 911 as he was driving a blue mini van to Toledo fire Station 16, on Dorr Street, where a large crowd gathered after the victim was taken to the hospital.
Toledo Police investigate the scene of a shooting on Hoag.
A man who lives near the shooting scene reported hearing eight to 10 gunshots and seeing a black Jeep-type vehicle flee from the scene.
