SANDUSKY  -- An autopsy performed on 11-week-old Athena Castile shed little light on the baby's death.

A spokesman for Erie County Coroner Brian Baxter said today the infant died of sharp-force trauma inflicted by another person.

Sandusky police have said the young girl was stabbed Thursday night, allegedly by her second cousin, Denzel Castile, 19, of Sandusky.

The autopsy report listed the manner of death as "pending" and did not state how many times the girl was stabbed.

The teen is being held in the Erie County jail, charged with aggravated murder, and in lieu of $1.025 million bond.
