A Toledo man accused in La’Quan Dunbar’s April 29 shooting death was indicted Thursday on two counts of murder with firearms specifications.

Quincy Allen, 21, of 1343 Oak Hill Ct. is charged in the death of Mr. Dunbar, 20, who was shot once in the head outside a central Toledo gas station.

Allen, who was held Thursday in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $1 million bond, also was indicted last week on a charge of aggravated robbery stemming from a May 15 hold-up.

According to court records, a Toledo man said he gave Allen and Frederick Watson, 20, of 1145 Belmont St. a ride.

Allen then allegedly put a gun to the victim’s head and demanded money while Mr. Watson tried to search his pockets. Mr. Watson also was indicted for aggravated robbery.
