Mich. man dies from injuries believed to have happened during domestic dispute

MORENCI, Mich. -- A man who may have fallen from the hood of a moving vehicle Friday during what police described as a "domestic violence incident" died Saturday afternoon in Toledo Hospital, authorities said.

Morenci police were dispatched to the 400 block of Lincoln Street about 6:15 p.m. Friday in response to the incident, Chief Larry Weeks said on the department's Facebook page. The first officer to arrive found a man in the street with serious injuries. According to initial reports, the man was on the hood of a vehicle leaving the scene, fell, and struck his head on the pavement, Chief Weeks said.

Ronald Michael Gaydosh, 26, died about 4:15 p.m. Saturday in Toledo Hospital. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, said Dr. James Patrick, Lucas County coroner.

Morenci police are continuing an investigation.
