Toledoan held in May shooting

Bond was set at $100,000 Wednesday in Toledo Municipal Court for a Toledo man accused in a May shooting. 

Ramon Young, 31, of 16 Prescott St., is charged with one count of felonious assault. He was being held late Wednesday in the Lucas County jail.

Injured in the May 28 shooting was Leon Blackwell, 32, of Toledo.

The victim told police he was outside 218 Pulaski St., in central Toledo, when someone shot him in his left thigh. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio.
