Fugitive wanted in Dec. 31 death arrested


Police arrested Wednesday the third and final suspect in the last homicide of 2012, ending a week-long search for the fugitive.

Daquaine Booth, 25, was charged with murder last week in the Dec. 31 death of Brian Minley, 24. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Toledo Police Gang Task Force arrested Booth at 429 Bronson St., Wednesday afternoon.

Also charged with murder in the death were Ashley Hundstrucker, 3940 Lockwood Ave., and Kevin Brooks, of 3208 Maple St., both 23.

They were arraigned May 30 and ordered held in the Lucas County jail, each in lieu of $1 million bonds. Preliminary hearings for the pair are scheduled for today.
