2 people wounded in early morning East Toledo shooting

Toledo police are investigating a shooting in East Toledo, where two victims were wounded by gunfire. Both people were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Police were summoned at 5 a.m. to 1218 Halstead St. on a report of a person shot, but responding crews found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
