Fire races through Sylvania Township home

Fire illuminated the early morning sky today as it raced through a Sylvania Township home in the 5800 block of Artwell Road.

The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m., police say. The home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived; no one was inside.

Firefighters say oxygen tanks in the home caused several explosions.
