Crash closes State Rt. 2 in Jerusalem Township
6/10/2013State Rt. 2 was closed more than two hours in Jerusalem Township after a collision Sunday at South Decant Road damaged a utility pole.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 1:20 p.m. Both drivers had minor injuries, with one transported to Mercy St. Charles Hospital and the other to Bay Park Hospital, said Tony Parasiliti, the Jerusalem Township fire chief.
He said low-hanging cables from the damaged pole were repaired before the highway’s reopening shortly after 3:30 p.m.
