Man shot in foot in East Toledo

A man was shot in East Toledo late Wednesday, authorities said.

Don Eames, whose age was unavailable, was shot in the foot, Toledo police said. His condition was unavailable.

The shooting occurred about 10:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Starr Avenue near East Broadway, police said.

The motive in the shooting was not released.

There was no word of arrests.
