A pizza delivery driver remained hospitalized today after being shot in the left arm.

A hospital spokesman said Stephen Davis, 23, was still being treated at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center but did not know his condition.

Mr. Davis, who works for Vito's Pizzeria, was delivering a pizza to 105 Rosalind Pl., in North Toledo, at 1:21 a.m. today when he was shot.

The victim told police he pulled into the driveway and three men came from behind the vehicle, demanding the victim to get out of the car.

Mr. Davis refused and one of the suspects fired two or three gunshots into the car, one striking the victim; a second bullet was lodged into the rear drivers-side door.

The victim drove back to work where police were called and the victim taken to the hospital.

No charges have been filed.
