Van driver info wanted in fatal motorcycle crash

Toledo police are looking for information about a crash that fatally injured a motorcyclist in West Toledo last month.

Randy Randolph Jr., 22, of Jervis Street was taken to Mercy St. Anne Hospital after the May 15 incident and pronounced dead about 20 minutes after arrival, according to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office. Mr. Randolph was not wearing a helmet.

Mr. Randolph and two other motorcyclists were westbound on West Alexis Road in front of a Lowe’s store at Opportunity Drive at 2:54 p.m., when a van turned in front of them into a driveway, according to the coroner’s office.

The other motorcyclists avoided a collision.
