MONROE — Two men robbed the Circle K convenience store along North Dixie Hwy. in Frenchtown Township early Sunday, according to Monroe County sheriff's deputies.

About 3:40 a.m., deputies said both suspects entered the store wearing hooded jackets, their faces hidden by masks.

One of the suspects allegedly was brandishing a handgun as they ordered a clerk to give them money from a safe, a news release from the sheriff's office stated.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
