Emergency response adds officer, dispatcher

Perrysburg Township announced the hiring of two new employees for its emergency response team and police department. Kimberly Katafias will begin as a police officer July 1 at a starting wage of $26.91 a hour. On June 25, Michael Thompson will start at $20.91 an hour as a dispatcher for the township.
