At least one person was shot today in the Old South End, officials said.

The shooting was reported at about 3:15 p.m. in the unit block of Jervis Street.

The caller told police her brother was shot by a relative.

Initial reports were that a man seen fleeing the scene had a small silver gun. That individual was arrested, police said, but they did not find a gun. Details of his arrest were not immediately available.

Officers were still looking for a white Cadillac, believed to be connected to the shooting, in both the Old South End and East Toledo.

The victim, whose name and condition were not immediately available, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment.
