Investigator called to scene of Toledo fire

A fire investigator has been called today to the scene of a vacant central Toledo house fire.

The fire at 1615 Ottawa Dr., near Auburn Avenue and Monroe Street, reported at about 5:20 p.m., appears suspicious, fire officials said.

The aluminum siding on the right side of 1613 Ottawa was damaged. That house is also vacant.

At 1615, fire was found on both the first and second floors, officials said.

No injuries were reported. At 6 p.m., fire crews remained on scene.
