Lima police seek person of interest in homicide

LIMA, Ohio -- A person of interest has been named in Monday morning's homicide.

Police are looking for Tayvon Brown, 19, of Lima, Ohio. Lima police want to talk to the teen in regards to the shooting death of Joshua Davenport, 20, of Lima.

Mr. Davenport was found with several gunshot wounds in an alley in the 700 block of East Albert Street. He died later at Lima Memorial Hospital.

An autopsy, to be performed by the Lucas County Coroner's Office, is scheduled for today.

Police have not commented on a motive.

Mr. Brown might be driving a white 2003 Cadillac with Ohio license plate FTQ1067.
