Youth on bicycle injured by van

FINDLAY — A boy on a bicycle was struck by a van and injured today in the 700 block of Sixth Street in Findlay, police said.

The boy was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital and then transferred by medical helicopter to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. Police did not release his name and age. His condition was not available.

The collision took place about 5:55 p.m. The driver of the van stopped at the scene. Police are investigating.
