Man charged with 7 counts of rape sought

Police are looking for a Toledo man who is accused of raping children younger than 10 years old.

Timothy Bragg, 24, of 729 Walnut St., is charged in Lucas County Common Pleas Court with seven counts of rape.

According to an indictment, the suspect’s alleged victims are children younger than 10 at the time.

Police Sgt. Joe Heffernan said there was more than one victim. Police said they believe they have identified all victims.

The reported assaults happened between Dec. 20, 2010, and April 3, 2013.

Mr. Bragg is black, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and 215 pounds, according to jail records.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Mr. Bragg. Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to phone either Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111 or the task force tip line at 1-866-492-6833.
