Toledo teen sentenced to 3 years for shooting

Toledo man was sentenced to three years in prison Wednesday by Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Gene Zmuda for shooting at another man.

Martel Miller, 19, of 960 W. Delaware Ave. pleaded no contest to attempted felonious assault with a firearm specification April 22. Two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felonious assault were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Richard Taylor, Jr., 19, told police he was approached by Miller in the 1300 block of Brookview Drive on Dec. 17 then was robbed and shot at. Mr. Taylor was not injured.
