Motorcyclist injured in crash on I-75 near Findlay

FINDLAY -- A motorcyclist was injured today after his 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide crashed on I-75 near Findlay, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Michael Carter, 38, was riding northbound on I-75, when he lost control of the motorcycle about 3:30 p.m. and struck the guardrail near milepost 153, just southwest of Findlay, a dispatcher reported.

Mr. Carter, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital to receive treatment, the dispatcher added.

No additional details were available about the nature of Mr. Carter's injuries, however, the dispatcher said they appeared to be non-life-threatening.
