Motorcyclists thrown on Anthony Wayne Trail

Two motorcycle riders were thrown from their bike Sunday evening when the driver lost control of his Harley-Davidson while on the Anthony Wayne Trail at the northbound entrance to I-75, Toledo police said.

Police said Terry Jenne, 31, of Toledo, was driving toward the entrance ramp with Nicole Bogart, 27, of Toledo, as his passenger when he veered off the road and onto gravel, where Ms. Bogart was thrown from the motorcycle. Police said she did not require medical treatment.

Mr. Jenne continued on the gravel before striking a guardrail. He was thrown from the motorcycle as well. He was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where police said he was in critical condition. A hospital spokesman did not have him listed as a patient.

The accident was reported at 8:16 p.m.
