Injury crash closes lanes on I-475/U.S. 23

A three-vehicle injury crash closed one lane in each direction on I-475/U.S.23 just north of Airport Highway today, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

It was unclear how many people were hurt, according to the patrol's Toledo post.

The crash occurred about 8:45 a.m., a patrol dispatcher said. A southbound car was struck by another vehicle and crossed the median into the northbound lanes, she said.

The crash remained under investigation.
