CLYDE, Ohio -- Two men died in a Seneca County crash early today near Clyde.

Dillon Spencer, 21, of Clyde and James Turner, 45, of Bellevue both died when the vehicles they were driving crashed on Township Road 32 at County Road 34 in Adams Township, several miles south of Clyde.

The Fremont post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, which took place just before 7 a.m. Authorities said Mr. Spencer was driving north on Township Road 32 in a Pontiac Grand Prix and Mr. Turner was driving west on County Road 34 in a Dodge Ram pickup when Mr. Spencer failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with Mr. Turner’s vehicle.

The two cars went off the intersection’s northwest corner and caught fire. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
