Woman charged with attempted murder
7/21/2013DELTA, Ohio — A 57-year-old woman is held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, near Stryker, charged with attempted murder of a 15-year-old boy.
Fulton County sheriff's deputies said they were dispatched at 9:33 a.m. today to 1263 State Rt. 109, Swancreek Township, and found a 15-year-old who had been shot. Candis Jo Sherman, 57, was taken into custody. Deputies said they recovered a revolver at the scene.
The youth was taken by Life Flight to an unidentified hospital. Participating in the investigation were the Delta and Wauseon police departments, the Henry County sheriff's office, and Delta fire and rescue.
