A Toledo man who apparently made a wardrobe change between robbing West Toledo convenience stores was arraigned today.

Andrew Snyder, 30, of 1931 Newport Rd., is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count each of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect, who appeared in Toledo Municipal Court, was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Police allege that Mr. Snyder robbed two stores early Wednesday morning: first a Speedway at 1708 Tremainsville Rd., followed by a 7-Eleven store at 3749 Upton Ave.

In each instance, the masked bandit held a long-bladed knife up to a clerk and demanded cash. In the second holdup, the robber, who was wearing a different hooded sweatshirt, also demanded cigarettes.

Mr. Snyder was arrested Wednesday. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 1.
