Bond set at $1.1 million for murder suspect extradited from Indiana

A city murder suspect was extradited from Indiana and arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court.

Patrick Harris, 40, of 311 New York Ave., was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $1.1 million on murder and felonious assault charges.

Mr. Harris was arrested in Indianapolis on July 18 by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Region Task Force and Indianapolis police.

He is accused of fatally shooting Ramon Dorsey, 22, on May 12 in North Toledo.

The victim, who was shot in the head, was found slumped behind the wheel of a black sport-utility vehicle in an alley behind the 2800 block of North Summit Street and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Mr. Harris was booked into the Lucas County jail on Thursday. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 1.
