A case of arson Sunday led to the razing of a vacant East Toledo house, Battalion Fire Chief Damon Williams said.
Firefighters were sent to 853 Rogers St. at Navarre Avenue about 7:45 a.m. Chief Williams said neighbors told him it was at least the third time the fire department was called to douse a fire at the site.
The chief said Sunday’s blaze weakened the structure, and city inspection officials ordered bulldozers to raze what was left.
