FOSTORIA — A Perrysburg man charged with aggravated murder was arrested in Cleveland on Monday morning.

Calvin Dixson, 37, whose exact address was not available, was arrested by Cleveland Police, according to Fostoria police. Police did not provide details on where specifically the arrest took place.

Police allege that the suspect killed Lisa Stowers, 50, who was shot multiple times. Injured was Ms. Stowers’ daughter, Tyeesha Ferguson, 36, who suffered “gunshot wounds.”

Fostoria police said Ms. Ferguson was in critical condition in Toledo Hospital on Monday. A hospital spokesman provided no information about Ms. Ferguson.

It was not immediately clear when Mr. Dixson would be taken to Fostoria to appear in court.

The shooting at 245 Bannister St., was reported at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police have said the incident appears to have been a “targeted incident involving an estranged ex-boyfriend.”

According to Lucas County records, Ms. Ferguson and Mr. Dixson filed for a marriage license in May, 2012.

At the time of the shooting, Ms. Ferguson had a protection order against Mr. Dixson.

Police did not provide details on where the shooting took place, but numerous callers dialing 911 reported that the shootings took place in or near a vehicle outside the residence. One caller said she was inside trying to protect her children after hearing gunshots.

“We need the police,” she said. “Gunshots fired. 245 Bannister Street. Please hurry.”

A second caller reported that a victim was in a car and shot.

The third and apparently final caller said he had just gotten home from church and was reporting gunshots and that a man was in a car firing a gun.
