A Bowling Green man convicted in 2006 of stealing from an area American Legion post was indicted Wednesday by a Lucas County grand jury on a charge of stealing from his employer.

Roger Glasgow, 53, was indicted for grand theft for allegedly taking more than $13,000 from Johnson Trucking, 2701 Eber Rd. in Springfield Township.

According to an investigation by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, Mr. Glasgow allegedly billed the firm and received payment for semi runs that he didn’t make.

In 2006, Mr. Glasgow was found guilty of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, in Bowling Green Municipal Court for stealing some $35,000 from the Tontogany American Legion Post 441 where he had been a former commander and finance officer.

He agreed to pay full restitution to the post as part of his sentence, which included two years community control, 90 days on electronic monitoring, and a $500 fine.
