ADRIAN — Crime Stoppers of Lenawee County has paid out five rewards for information that has led to arrests in April through June of this year, authorities reported.

The amount was being withheld in compliance with the program policy.

The program is composed of community leaders and news media that raise money to pay for information that help law enforcement agents solve cases, according to program officials.

The program is available to all Lenawee County law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and probation officers.

A person with information about a wanted person or crime can contact the program at 517-266-6161 or 877-276-8477 or text 274637 and start the tip with LENAWEE.

If the tip leads to the arrest of a suspect, the caller could receive a reward.

The tips and the identity of the person phoning in the tip are confidential.
