BOWLING GREEN — A Michigan woman and a Kentucky man were being held Thursday after a traffic stop on I-75 in Rossford turned up 676 Oxycodone pills stashed in their vehicle, authorities said.

Luciana Loyd, 38, of Detroit, the driver, and Vincent Barksdale, 22, of Radcliff, Ky., her passenger, were each charged with possession and trafficking in oxycodone, second-degree felonies, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol. During their arraignment Wednesday in Perrysburg Municipal Court, they were ordered held in the Wood County jail pending pretrial hearings Aug. 22. Her bond was set at $50,000 and his was $35,000.

Troopers stopped a 2007 Chrysler Sebring with a Kentucky registration for a speed violation about 2 a.m. Wednesday. A drug-sniffing dog alerted troopers and the pills were found in the center console. The street value of the pills is estimated at $16,225.

If convicted each could face up to 16 years in prison and a fine of up to $30,000.
