The alleged suspect in a Perrysburg Township armed robbery, in which a fast-food clerk was injured, didn't flee far from her target.

Amanda Columber, 25, whose most recent address is an Econolodge motel room, 10667 Fremont Pike, is charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault, and was picked up on a larceny warrant.

At 6:40 a.m. today, a woman went into a Subway restaurant, which shares the same address as the motel, and hit the clerk with a weapon, said Deputy police Chief Mike Gilmore.

The deputy chief declined to say what type of weapon was used.

The woman took an undisclosed amount of money from the sandwich shop and fled.

The store clerk, who was not identified, was still being treated for non-life threatening injuries at St. Luke's Hospital, Deputy Chief Gilmore said at about noon.

During the investigation, officers from the Perrysburg Township Police Department determined Ms. Columber could be a possible suspect and at 9:15 a.m., after obtaining a search warrant, found her in her motel room with Chad Martin, 30.

Mr. Martin was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

From the motel room, officers recovered evidence, although Deputy Chief Gilmore declined to say what was found.

Both are being held in the Wood County jail.
