MONROE — Two of three northbound lanes will be closed on I-75 for about two miles in Monroe this weekend, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.
Concrete patching is planned from 9 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Monday between the LaPlaisance Road and Front Street interchanges. The right lane will remain closed north of Front to a point just north of the Dixie Highway interchange.
Long backups are likely on northbound I-75, especially on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Additional lane closings are planned near Erie Road next week.
