Motorized scooter driver injured in collison

A person on a motorized scooter was injured today when the scooter and a vehicle collided in Oregon.

Oregon police said a person, whose identity and extent of injuries was not immediately known, was hurt and taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo after colliding with a vehicle just before 9:30 p.m.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Navarre Avenue and Athens Road.
