BOWLING GREEN — A state grant will pay for extra traffic patrols in September in Wood County, Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn announced.
Deputies will pay special attention to moving violations — speeding, failure to yield, and driving while intoxicated — that are leading factors in fatal crashes, the sheriff said, promising “zero tolerance” for drunken driving or seat-belt violations.
