Tips lead to arrests of 4 sex offenders

Four registered sex offenders wanted on warrants issued around Northwest Ohio were arrested Wednesday on tips from the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Keith Prater, 25, of Toledo was wanted on federal charges of failure to register as a sex offender and traveling and residing interstate. Prater is classified as a sexual predator, which means he must register his address every 90 days for the rest of his life.

Raymond Fenton, 54, hometown unavailable, was wanted in Wood County for failure to register as a sex offender. Fenton, also classified as a sexual predator, was arrested in Brandon, Fla.

Fenton was featured in The Blade’s weekly “Most Wanted” page, which is published every Tuesday.

Jeffrey Bell, 37, of Toledo was arrested for failure to register his change of address with the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held in the Lucas County jail.

Scott Lemaitre, 34, of Fremont had recently cut off his ankle monitor and fled to Green Springs, Ohio. He was arrested there and booked into the Sandusky County jail for a sex offender violation charge.
