Police seek info on shooting outside city bar

9/7/2013

Toledo police are looking for the person who shot a city man in the left leg outside a South Toledo bar earlier this week.

Jim Terry, 28, was shot outside the Liquor Box bar, 1202 Broadway.

A witness told police that the victim was kicked out of the bar because the victim was “causing problems,” according to a police report. Shortly after being kicked out of the bar, the witness heard one gunshot at about 2:15 a.m.

Mr. Terry, who did not cooperate with police during the investigation, was taken to Toledo Hospital for treatment and was released.

Police ask that anyone with information call the Crime Stoppers program.
